I highly recommend reading his essay on the Gay International. As much as I agree with the general thrust of the article insofar as he employs a much-needed anti-imperialist critique to the proliferating interest in LGBT rights, his conclusions are ultimately, in my view, misguided, academic, and often naive. Still I recommend the book as it is a significant addition to this discussion - all the other essays in the book are quite provocative too, though in a less topical sort of way.
